Santa Rosa & Blue Mountain Beach

Santa Rosa Beach is located just west of Miramar Beach in the prestigious Beaches of South Walton, an upscale Beach destination in Northwest Florida's famous Gulf Coast.  South Walton Rental Homes and Condos are amongst some of the newest inventory in the panhandle.  Most have recently been built since 2005 and offer spacious accommodations in a central location close to grocery, shopping, medical services and some of the finest dining in the entire state of Florida.

Blue Mountain Beach is located 345 feet above sea level so it is fairly high ground for a beach destination - but there other than the towering sea oats and dunes, there are no mountains in the area. European travelers at sea for months saw the purplish-blue lupine growing amidst sea oats and palmetto palms and named this pristine stretch of beach what we call it today.

One of the highlight experiences of the Blue Mountain beach community is the well traveled, Timpoochee Trail that provides bikers and hikers of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy the rambling wild flowers, greeney and scenic beauty of the destination.
