Grayton Beach holds the honor of the most aged and perhaps distinguished of all of South Walton's beach communities. Established almost 120 years ago this lively and charismatic community is simply timeless. It's well known for its quirky boutiques, delicious diners and thriving art and music scene.

Strolling down its oyster-shell roads lined with water oaks you'll encounter many happy locals and their pets. A love of the beach and a free spirit seem to be prerequisites for living in this charming town.

Be sure to check out the Grayton Beach State Park which spans most of the western lake and miles of sugary-white sandy beaches. Imagine ambling along the beach through boardwalks amidst palm trees and shimmering lakes. Try kayaking or canoeing on one of the many lakes and come to appreciate the natural beauty of Grayton Beach State Park.
