It sounds more ominous than it really is - considering that the motorcycle are truly fine works of art and the riders are from all walks of life. Case in point - Starbucks was one of the busiest venues at Pier Park during the event.

Just a twenty minute drive from most of the Beachseeker rental properties in Seagrove, Seaside and Seacrest Beach on Highway 30A - Thunder Beach is a fabulous event for the whole family to enjoy. There is no admission cost and the bike show is a delight with some of the most extraordinary displays of craftmanship, artistry and ingenious with metalworks, handpainting and true vision.

South Walton Vacation Rentals are truly an eclectic experience. From serene balconies overlooking calm gulf waters, quaint diners and coffee shops with a local flair - and even a swarm of motorcycle enthusiasts - only the open minded truly discover the charm of 30A.

An icon in Seaside, Florida - Bud & Alley's is a beachside bar, grill, dance hall and all around charming establishment that is casual, yet elegant. Patrons resemble Tommy Bahama ads with loose fitting khaki shorts, summer short sleeve beach print button downs and flip flops or loafers. The menu is short yet gives enough options for even the pickiest eaters in the group with seafood, pasta, chicken and steak choices. Ironically though the wine menu has five times as many choices with international and domestic choices to make a perfect culinary pairing.

We met another family from Panama City Beach since Seaside is a perfect halfway point from Destin - between us there were four adults and three children ranging in age from 3 to 9. Reservations are highly recommended especially in season and we walked right in and were seated immediately. The children's menu was perfect and offered both kid friendly and healthy choices. European crusty bread and olive oil for dipping is provided as an appetizer. Food and beverages were served promptly and the food was fantastic with mid size portions that left us all eyeing the dessert menu.

Outside on the back deck there is a perfect venue for wedding receptions, meetings, birthdays, and special events with plenty of space for live music and dancing. The sea oats line the southern wall and one can easily enjoy the Gulf Views from the Rooftop deck.

Menu pricing is reasonable for a beachside establishment but not for the budget conscience. Plan for about $45 per person with non-alcholic beverages.
